About the Founder - Festus Haba

Festus Haba is a seasoned missionary and development leader with over 30 years of experience serving across Africa. He graduated from Mission Kalima in Guinea Conakry in 2003, where he also served as Assistant Director from 1996 to 2006.

Festus held leadership roles with Children of Character (COC) organization for over 16 years, serving as Country Director, Countries Managing Mentor (CMM), Regional Director (RD), and Regional Team Leader (RTL) for West and Central Africa. In these roles, he oversaw operations in more than 24 countries and supervised over 30,000 volunteers.

He established Children of Character (COC) programs in Côte d’Ivoire, Niger, Benin, Togo, Chad, Morocco, and Cameroon, and supported programs in Mali, Rwanda, Burundi, the Republic of Congo Kinshasa, Kenya, Tanzania, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Senegal, and other countries across Africa.

Festus holds certifications in Leadership and Management from the Canadian College for Leadership and Management (CCLM). Governance, Leadership, and Public Law from Gold Coast University Ghana (GSGL). He also studied Human Resource Management at Valley View University (VVU) in Kumasi, Ghana.

Festus is the Founder and President of Festus Health Foundation Ghana (FHFG) (LBG), where he continues to promote health improvement and character development in underserved communities.
