Many families still cook using traditional cooking methods that expose them to excessive heat, harmful smoke, headaches, asthma, Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI), eye irritation, and serious burn injuries. Your support will help families transition from traditional cooking methods to safer, improved cookstove technologies that reduce these health risks and create healthier homes.

Donations will help families learn safe water storage and water treatment practices that protect drinking water from contamination and make it safer for consumption.

Your donation will be used to support the Youth Service and Development Corps (YSDC) in conducting house-to-house behavior change activities that promote the adoption of improved cookstove technology, safe water treatment practices, proper sanitation, hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.

Through regular household visits, YSDC volunteers will provide practical demonstrations, education, mentoring, and follow-up support to help families move away from traditional cooking methods and adopt healthier and safer household practices.
